Dear Respected Donors,
We bring to you a heartbreaking yet inspiring case of a hardworking family who have always strived to earn an honest living, despite facing repeated hardships.
The applicant, currently unemployed due to severe health complications, was previously supporting his wife in her small sewing business. His wife, a skilled seamstress, had been the backbone of the family—sewing and selling handmade clothing to sustain their household.
However, tragedy struck when she suffered an accident and fractured her hand. She has not recovered fully, losing much of her ability to continue her work.
In an attempt to keep the family afloat, the applicant started a small pickle stall. Sadly, during this effort, he was hit by a bus and is now bedridden with a broken leg.
Their daughter, who also contributed through a small frame-making business, recently underwent surgery for appendicitis and is now recovering from complications due to infection.
Today, all three members of the family who were actively working are unable to earn.
Despite everything, this family remains committed to earning through halal and dignified means rather than depending on aid.
A Path to Recovery
They have a small space above their home which they have started building into a modest sewing workshop.
Their intention is to hire a seamstress and continue producing garments for sale, allowing them to rebuild their livelihood.
However, due to financial constraints, the construction has been left incomplete.
